We ask WHY?
Why so few have come to Christ in hundreds of years. The seeds need to be planted so they can grow. People need to learn how to have a deep relationship with God and be shown how to have true communication, prayer, with God is so that they can grow. We want to teach people to watch for Christ and not the leaders of the church. People need to be pointed to Christ with us ‘out of the way’ so they can have their dependence on Christ alone. To want to direct them to Christ just as Paul did that Christ would be shown through us so that He would be known! We have a two step process that we are putting into motion so we can go to India as full time missionaries. For us to do this we your help to do this.
Two fold vision to get the mission field.
1. Raise support for our family to go full time and start working with a church.
2. Build a House of Prayer.
Goal one is to go and take over an established church that is in need of a Pastor. Ernest has been asked to go to India and take over this church. We are excited about the opportunity for us and believe that we are supposed to walk in obedience for the calling God has on our lives. We know this is the call for our lives but we need your help to get there. Ernest will be the Senior Pastor and initially I will be language learning and doing ministry at the same time. We would like to be moving there in the fall of 2011.
The second goal is to build a house of prayer and outreach home at the land in Kanchipuram. We believe that this is the new goal for the land that we have and we will have many opportunities to reach many. Our goal with the house of prayer is to get people back to their communication with Christ. We believe the more people put the complete dependence on God the more the gospel with go forth. Christians need to get back to the roots of their relationship with God if we can help cultivate that no matter what denomination they are from if they are a pastor or a layperson we want to lead them in a soaking in the word through a house of prayer.
